£245.00
An unusual, hand carved, ebonised chair from the Victorian era.
Carved detail to the front with a nicely worn patina. The footrest slides out easily and runs smoothly.
There is a small hole cut out the back of the foot rest, which would have attached to the hook on the back of the chair by a rope of some sort to allow you to pull the footrest back in whilst being seated.
It is in nicely worn condition. Solid with a nice patina. Looks to have been painted at some point since the late 1800s.
A rare find and a nice collectable little piece.
Dimensions: 104cm height x 42cm width extending to 67cm approx with the foot rest.
