17 Jan In Loving Memory of our Dad
Well 2024 proved to be a very tough year for the Cambrewood family. We lost our dad just before Christmas and of course were not able to put as much work into new stock as we would have liked over the year, or he would have liked for that matter!
My dad was a huge part of the business. Always enthusiastic about new stock, always out there trying to find new pieces for the shop and we would wassap and talk to each other all day. We were more than just father and son, we had a beautiful friendship and his support and love for the business bought so much positive energy and fun to all around him.
Even in his final days, dad always wanted to hear about any new stock or ventures and as always Cambrewood remains very much a family business and with the help of my son who is always around the barn, in between college of course, and my wife and friends who all get stuck in from time to time, we are taking his positive energy forward.
So as he always said….onwards and upwards we must go! I want to thank all my customers for your patience as we took a little time away, and was a little slow with orders here and there, your understanding and kind words bought a tear to my eye!
I have always said I have the nicest customers – and now fully up and running again, look forward to serving you all, both old and new in the future.
So rest in piece to a really very special dad, hugely missed by us all and thank you dad for so much support, love and soooo much fun over the years. My own relationship with my son is all the better for having you, and I am sure he will one day pass that down to his own children, which is a beautiful thing to leave in this world.
Right…just in case he is looking….best get some road trips planned and get the shop stocked up or I’ll be in trouble! x
