What a beautiful desk! In solid oak made in the 1930s in that highly desirable natural light oak finish.
A very sought after style with multiple drawers to the right, they always looks fantastic, and a cupboard to the left with another drawer above. Come around to the side of the desk and you’ll find a rare feature of a side cupboard door too, with the storage area split between front and back. Really nice feature. The multiple drawers to the right side run all the way to the back of the desk
The quality of craftsmanship is really exceptional, with beautifully made dovetail joints throughout. Superb attention to detail.
There is a large pull out work surface above the drawers too adding to the work area, again all very nicely finished.
The cupboard door is oak veneered over solid oak and has a slight wear, totally smooth to the touch and just worn smooth by time. At nearly 100 years old it is in fantastic condition. The top shows very little signs of use. Solid oak.
Original brass bevelled handles throughout. Will certainly appreciate with age.
