SOLD: 1950s Headmasters Desk

This large mahogany desk dates back to the 1950s and having spent a few years in storage after a previous life as a headmasters desk, is now fresh to the market and ready for service!

Finished with the original brass handles, brass feet and featuring panelled sides and a panelled back, this is fine looking desk from any angle.

Extremely solid and well made with a light natural patina and some light wear all adding to the character.  The thick top has a lovely grain and provides a large working area.

All the drawers run smoothly with two smaller top drawers two each side above two large drawers complete with removeable wooden partitions.

Plenty of history in this old desk with no doubt a few stories to tell too.
