SOLD: 1940s Double Pedestal Oak Desk

This super solid oak desk dates back to the 1940s and is in beautifully unrestored and totally original condition.

The original handles really add to the overall look of the desk and combined with the aged oak, you have a very solid piece, rich in character and a great addition to a study or office.

The desk also benefits from not just panelled sides but a panelled back too, meaning the desk can be positioned in the centre of a room looking great from all sides.

There are 8 drawers with dovetail joints throughout, all running smoothly. The top has the usual signs of use which all adds to the character.

Family owned since new, this desk remained in the same room of a large London house since the 1940s.

It has been throughly cleaned and natural bees waxed and is now ready for the next 100 years.
