A 1940s solid oak single pedestal study desk dates in beautifully unrestored and totally original condition.

The original handles add to the overall look of the desk and combined with the aged oak, you have a very solid piece, rich in character and a great addition to a study or office.

The desk also benefits from not just panelled sides but a panelled back too, meaning the desk can be positioned in the centre of a room looking great from all sides.

There are 2 drawers with dovetail joints throughout, all running smoothly and a cupboard to the right of the desk with a centre shelf.

Family owned since new, this desk remained in the same room of a large London house since the 1940s.

It has been thoroughly cleaned, treated with natural bees wax and is now ready for the next 100 years.
