Mid century oak M.O.D desk in solid oak from around the 1960s/70s in excellent condition throughout.
Having sold many of these old M.O.D desks, the one thing that always stands out is the build quality. They were certainly built to last and feel very solid and well put together.
The steel foot rest bar not only looks great but really adds to the structual strength of the desk.
Very solid with dovetailed joints to all the drawers.
The original leather top is all intact with no rips or tears and is in very clean condition. There are some signs of use as you would expect from a desk of this age.
We have given this desk a full Cambrewood service. Deep cleaned, waxed and the leather has been treated and fed with a leather nourishing cream. All drawers run smoothly.
