Originally from an old shop on Manchester, where they had been since they were first made in the 1920s.
Solid oak and in original condition, with some age related marks, nice patina and a signs of use all adding to the character.
The top has a lovely darker patina, deeply grained into the wood where it was used as a shop counter for a hundred years. Fully cleaned and sealed.
Dovetail jointed drawers. Comes in two parts for easy access.
Each one is fully prepped, deep cleaned and given a full Cambrewood service here in our workshop. Repairs, when required are carried out to the highest standard with care taken to retain the original patina and character of the wood. The end result is a beautiful, original cabinet finished in a natural wax to both feed and enhance the wood.
