1950s Architects Plan Chest

Another great looking architects plan chest with oak dovetail jointed drawers and original brass handles.
Fitted with handles to the side which must have been added at some point to allow the plan chest to be moved easily and although they add a nice finishing touch – they could be easily removed.
It’s in great condition all round with a nice patina.
Drawers run smooth.
As with all out plan chests, we give these big old units a thorough service before they leave. Deep cleaned, tightened up, waxed and repaired where needed to ensure they are super solid and ready for use, whilst retaining the original patina and character from the aged oak.
Appears to be made around the 1950s/ 60s.
