Dating back to the 1940s this light oak plan chest is fresh out of years of storage from a large engineering factory.
Original handles and totally original throughout. The top has a lovely patina and the rich grain of the oak gives this plan chest a lovely aged look in light coloured oak. Very Solid and in excellent condition.
We have acquired a number of these from a large engineering factory with money from the sale to us going to a great cause. Full of vintage plans and paperwork and stored away for many years, they are now being bought back to life at our barn.
Each one is fully prepped, deep cleaned and given a full Cambrewood service here in our workshop. Repairs, when required are carried out to the highest standard with care taken to retain the original patina and character of the wood. The end result is a beautiful, original cabinet finished in a natural wax to both feed and enhance the wood.
Comes in two parts for easy access with price including delivery to a room of your choice by our two man delivery team.
