Cambrewood is proud to offer a rare opportunity to own this superb 1940s architect plan chest.
Restored in our workshop to the highest standards, the original oak has been finished in contrasting light and dark tones to makes for a truly unique piece, whilst retaining the rich grain, character and patina of the wood.
Already receiving plenty of compliments at the barn, it is certainly getting noticed!

We have acquired a number of these from a large engineering factory with money from the sale to us going to a great cause. Full of vintage plans and paperwork and stored away for many years, they are now being bought back to life at our barn.
Each one is fully prepped, deep cleaned and given a full Cambrewood service here in our workshop. Repairs, when required are carried out to the highest standard with care taken to retain the original patina and character of the wood. The end result is a beautiful, original cabinet finished in a natural wax to both feed and enhance the wood.
Comes in two parts for easy access with price including delivery to a room of your choice by our two man delivery team.
