A leather top 1940s oak architects plan chest in the highly sought after coffee table size and in lovely vintage condition.
The leather top has naturally aged over many years of use and with no rips or tears which goes beautifully with the rest of the plan chest.
Very solid and heavy with steel runners to the drawers, all running smoothly.
Panelled back and sides and suitable to be positioned in the centre of a room.
This is a very solid and heavy little plan chest. Oak framed with oak fronted drawers and dovetail joined drawers.
Dimensions: 123cm length x 85cm width x 51cm height
Workshop notes:
The plan chest is in original condition but we have deeply cleaned it and treated the leather to a feed and clean too. Fully tightened and given a full Cambrewood service. All drawers run smoothly. Re-stained the front drawers and frame to deepen the finish and enhance the oak. Finished with polish and ready to go!
